With just one interaction with Maddie we can guarantee that your fur babies will fall head over pawsz in love with her! Maddie is incredibly kind, gentle and overflows with love from every part of her being for pets and their people. With her warm personality, she brings joy with her every day along with her slyly spunky sassy temperament. Maddie is one of the most empathetic Veterinary Assistants we’ve come across in the field! Rest assured, her incredible technical skills match her personality and your pets are in the absolute best care with her.
Maddie and hubby, Kyle, share their home with their furry family members including 4 dogs, 2 cats, horses and the cutest little hedgehog named Harper! They are building their dream abode in Marysville, Ohio, and are excited to expand their family in the future. Maddie relaxes by reading, riding her horses and drinking coffee on the porch, especially during the beautiful fall weather. Her long-term career goal is to complete her studies as a Veterinary Nurse which is absolutely purrrrfect for her gifts of handling pets and client education. Maddie currently has equine health studies under her belt from Hocking College and plans on attending Columbus State Community College to earn her certification as a Veterinary Nurse.
We are thankful that Maddie began her veterinary field career at AHSH as a Kennel Technician in addition to her full-time job as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. Maddie would arrive at 5:30 AM, take care of the boarding pets at AHSH and continue on to her full-time hours taking care of pets and their people all day! She has the strong work ethic and it was a natural transition for her to join us full-time at AHSH as a Veterinary Assistant!
Maddie aims to help pets get better and feel their absolute best, no matter what the situation may be, as well as making her coworkers laugh and enjoy their time at work. Whether your pet comes in for a simple nail trim or a medical visit, Maddie’s priority is to always take care of your pet in the best environment possible. What she looks forward to most in working at AHSH is the opportunity to help pets heal, stay healthy and educate clients on how to provide their furry families with the best care at home!
